Situated adjacent to the village green in the heart of Mathry. Mathry is a small picturesque hilltop village with far reaching views of the coast. It has a good, friendly pub/restaurant, award-winning tea-room, post office, wood-turners and church. Abermawr Beach and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path are within walking distance making the property an ideal base to explore the beautiful national park of North Pembrokeshire.
Nearby is Strumble Head (seal and porpoise watching), Fishguard, and St Davids with its Blue Flag Whitesands Beach (ideal for surfing),
Bishops Palace and Cathedral are all within easy reach. A regular bus service runs through the village connecting Fishguard,
St Davids, Haverfordwest and surrounding coastline.
Accommodation
The cottage (equipped to a grade four standard) has a large, comfortable kitchen/dining room/lounge. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, gas oven, fridge, washer/drier, and breakfast bar. The lounge area has two comfortable settees, colour TV and DVD player.
The dining area over-looks the enclosed courtyard and has a dining table and six chairs.
Downstairs there is also a cloakroom with WC/hand basin, hall with understairs cupboard housing the boiler that provides central heating and hot water throughout the property.
Upstairs are two large bedrooms - one king-size and one twin, both with exposed beams and extensive cupboards.
The bathroom contains a white suite and bath with shower over.
Outside, the small enclosed patio area is a sun trap with garden furniture and there is a parking space to the front of the property.
